3 WPT titles in 3 days for Ryan Hoenig, and that's not all

The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood in Florida is hosting the current WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown series, which runs from April 3-23 and has a total of 75 tournaments on the schedule.

The main hero of today's article will be American player Ryan Hoenig, whose name is well worth remembering, you will definitely hear about him again. This American has been playing poker for four years and already has more than $543,000 worth of winnings to his credit. His biggest success came during last year's WSOP, where he finished a handsome second in the $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship, with a prize of $369,972.


Incredible achievements during the WPT
 

Ryan Hoenig has captivated poker sites around the world over the past few days, as he has put on an unbelievable display of success. Over the course of nine days, he sat at 7 WPT final tables and played 5 final heads-up matches. Of these, he finished runner-up twice and was crowned champion three times. Moreover, he managed to win the three titles mentioned above in the span of three days.

The first title was won in Event #27, which was a $600 Limit 2-7 Triple Draw with 66 entries and a prizepool of $34,320. He took home $11,980 for the win. His second success came in event number 30, which was 600$ Limit Omaha 8 or Better with 89 entries and a prizepool of $46,280, where he took home $14,675. His third title came in 600$ Limit Badugi with 55 entries and a prizepool of $28,600, from where he took home $10,585.

As mentioned earlier, Ryan also took two second place finishes, two days before winning three titles. He was runner-up in the $600 Big O - Five Card Pot Limit Omaha 8 or Better - Deep Stack with 110 entries for $10,580 and the $400 Mixed Pot Limit Omaha (PLO PLO 8, BIG O) Deep Stack with 93 entries for $5,830.

As you may have noticed, neither of these tournaments were in NLH format. Of the 7 final tables mentioned above, only one was NLH, and in that one Ryan finished in fifth place for $6,170. In total, these 7 final table appearances earned him a total of $62,200.

Ari is not missing a beat at the aforementioned WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown, where he has already made four final tables and taken home two championship trophies.

The first win came in the number two event, which was the $600 Limit Seven Card Stud with 34 entries and a prize pool of $17,680. Ari took home $7,150. The second trophy was in the 600$ Limit Triple Stud with 67 entries and a prizepool of $34,840, where his prize money was $12,130. In total, Ari has now played 7 tournaments here and cashed for $29,630.


Chance Kornuth also took home a trophy
 

Chance Kornuth also made an appearance at this stop of the WPT series and played the $10,000 Heads-Up NLH with 28 entries and a prizepool of $266,000. Only the top four players here were eligible to cash. The winner was Chance Kornuth, who added another win and a $133,000 prize to his account. His total live winnings are now worth more than $15.8 million.
