Triton Monte-Carlo is slowly approaching its PLO portion, where three tournaments await us. Before that, however, we have a few NLH champions to get to know, and we'll meet one of them tonight in the $132,500 buy-in NLH Main Event.

159 entries took care of the $19,875,000 prizepool here, and cash prizes awaited 27 players. A $4,410,000 prize awaits the winner. There are only 9 players left in contention for this amount.

Leading the finalists is Jonathan Jaffe, who won his first and only Triton title a year ago in Monaco. Jonathan has a massive stack of up to 12,650,000, which is double what the player with the second largest stack has. Names like Bryn Kenney, Punnat Punsri, Danny Tang and Mario Mosböck will not be missing from the final table.

60k NLH Turbo

Yesterday, tournament number 11 saw its champion, which was the NLH 8-Handed Turbo with a buy-in of $62,400, a field of 61 entries and a prizepool of $3,660,000. Only 11 players could make it to the ITM here and over $1 million awaited the winner.

Names like Aleks Ponakovs, Alex Theologis, Leon Sturm, Ren Lin and Lucas Greenwood made the final table. Alex Theologis and Igor Yaroshevskyy sat in the final heads-up. The players negotiated an ICM deal here, after which they played out for $29,000 for the winner and the trophy. The winner was Igor Yaroshevskyy, who took home $862,357 and his second title. Alex Theologis played the seventh tournament of the Triton Monte-Carlo 2024 stop and made the final table on five occasions. He has now earned $860,143 for his second place finish.
