A combination of poker and reality show - Poker After Dark returns in a unique format

GGPoker have revamped the iconic 'Poker After Dark' to create a brand new unique format. The trailer published just a few days ago promises exciting poker action spiced with a sufficient amount of dramatic moments. The show is called "Game of Gold" and several big names will be competing for a nice cash prize.

Game of Gold is supposed to combine high stakes poker with elements of a reality show, where players will gradually leave the game. Of course, the main ambassador of GGPokr, Daniel Negreanu, cannot be missing among the participants, who himself does not hide his enthusiasm for this project: "Game of Gold takes all the best elements of traditional poker shows, adds more exciting elements to them and mixes them with reality shows, creating something truly revolutionary. If you have even the slightest interest in poker, Game of Gold is a must-see."

In 12 episodes, up to sixteen well-known poker professionals will gradually eliminate each other. Only one of them will win 456,000 US dollars at the end. Players will fight for survival in a variety of poker formats from traditional tournament to Indian poker (where you see all your opponents' cards but not yours). In addition to Negranu, fans can look forward to Jason Koon, Fedor Holz, Josh Arieh, Daniel "Jungleman" Cates, Charlie Carrel, Johan "YoH Viral" Guilbert, Andy Tsai, Michael Soyza, Maria Ho, and many more.

The first episode of Game of Gold will be available on the GGPoker YouTube channel on Wednesday, November 8th, with the second one following on Friday, November 10th. Additional episodes will air every Monday, Wednesday and Friday until December 4. The trailer offered a small taste, but it also leaves room for curiosity as to what exactly the show will be about. Will it hold the audience's attention until the finale? And which of the star players will survive all the disciplines and sit on the throne of the winner? Let's be surprised.
