In the world of online poker, 2023 was all about Benny Glaser. The British pro and mixed games specialist made headlines around the world when he pulled off a stunning feat - winning 7 events as "RunGodLike" during the WCOOP festival, taking his COOP record to 25! Benny was also our guest on a special episode of spadecast, where he shared his feelings about this achievement.
Even though it's been almost 3 months since the end of the festival, Benny has another reason to be happy. With his fans at the his instagram as he shared a moment unlike any other in poker history. When a package landed at his door, he found eight trophies from this year's WCOOP. In addition to the seven titles, Benny also dominated the overall High Leaderboard, for which he also took home the Player of the Year title.
Although the biggest payday ($55,706) came in the $320 6-max NLH event, in his own words, the most valuable title for him was the $1,050 2-7 Triple Draw World Championship event. In fact, Benny also won a WSOP bracelet in Vegas in the same event, and can now safely claim to be the online and live world champion in this discipline.
