Alan "Ari" Engel holds the record for the most WSOPC gold rings, with 18, and it's certainly not his final tally. However, he's currently captivating the world's poker media with his new stunt.
The US edition of the EPT, known by its acronym NAPT, is currently underway at Resorts World Las Vegas, where iconic spade-shaped trophies are up for grabs. Ari Engel came here yesterday to play one of the tournaments on the list. Specifically, it was the Cardplayer Lifestyle H.E.R.O.S. tournament with a buy-in of $550, an entry count of 108 and a prizepool of $51,480.

While Ari was sitting in this tournament, he decided to also play the WSOP Online, which is currently only open to US players. Ari ("BacBillNat9") entered tournament number 29, which was the NLH Turbo with a buy-in of $400, an entry count of 500, and a prizepool of $180,000.
There was $34,200 waiting for the winner, and Ari Engel entered the fray for that amount no less than 6 times. The buy-ins paid off in the end, as he was the winner of this tournament, earning him his 4th WSOP bracelet. He eventually busted out in 9th place in the aforementioned NAPT tournament, earning $1,510.

Ari won his first WSOP bracelet in 2019 when he was the winner of a $2,500 buy-in NLH tournament and also took home $427,399. The second bracelet came in 2021 when he won the $10,000 buy-in Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship. Ari's third bracelet came last year during the WSOP Online when he won the NLH Turbo 6-Max with a buy-in of $500.
