There were 52 players going into the final day and Fedor Holz was the chip leader. Fedor also sat at the final table, where Kiat Lee was already the chipleader with a stack of 4,880,000. At the other end was Christoph Vogelsang with just six blinds.

Vogelsang eventually managed to survive one payjump to finish in 8th place. With the last four players in the hand, a debate over the deal began and ended successfully. At this point, Michael Soyza was the huge chipleader, securing the largest amount of $2,305,000. Also in the deal was Pieter Aerts who secured $1,924,587, Mario Mosböck secured $1,544,316 and Fedor Holz had a sure amount of $1,528,097. However, there was still the trophy, the title and the $310,000 prize for the winner to play for.

Just before the final heads-up, Fedor Holz was eliminated and Michael Soyza and Pieter Aerts faced each other in heads-up play. The game went on for a long time and the chips were moved from side to side. Aerts at one point was down to just 4 blinds, but eventually managed to turn the hand over. Pieter Aerts became the new Triton champion and won his second Triton title. He also added $2,234,587 in prize money.
