The Big Wrap PLO Mystery Bounty Edition series took place at the Rozvadov poker room in recent days. The last tournament was the 1K Mystery Bounty with a buy-in of €700+€100+€300 bounty and a €300,000 guarantee.
The tournament brought only 206 entries and so the casino had to add a considerable amount to the guarantee. There was a bounty of €51,200 waiting for the winner, which the top 8 players battled it out for yesterday. They were led by Czech player Michal Čorňák. However, there were also a couple of German-speaking players.
August Schlegl from Austria and local player Michal Čorňák made it to the final heads-up. August Schlegl was the chipladder, and he had almost double the amount of his opponent. The players made a deal in heads-up play and played down to a winner.
Play in the last pair lasted only two hands, after which Schlegl of Austria was the winner, taking home €49,270. Michal Čorňák took home €36,630 for second place. How much the players took from the bounty prizes is not disclosed by the casino.
