The WSOPC's Rozvadov edition is well underway and 7 gold rings have already been given out out of a total of 12. Last night we met a new champion in the WSOPC Mystery Bounty, a €400 buy-in + €200 bounty tournament with a €300,000 guarantee. Three players also had a ticket to the WSOPE Main Event worth €10,350.
The tournament attracted 680 entries, bringing the prizepool to €346,800, of which €35,000 awaited the winner. The final table here featured a trio of German-speaking players and a trio of Czechs.
Of the trio of local players, Michal Mrakeš, who already has 5 WSOPC gold rings at home, made it the furthest. However, he now had to settle for third place, which was worth €16,000. He was closely followed by both of his compatriots, Jakub Štěrba (€12,400) and Anh Do (€9,700).
Two German-speaking players, Marcus Skalicky from Austria and "Mr. Backhand" from Germany, were pitted against each other in heads-up play. "Mr. Backhand" was the first winner of the current edition of the WSOPC. Now Marcus Skalicky took the gold ring and the German player had to settle for second place. Marcus took home €35,000 and "Mr. Backhand" won €22,500. Both players also received a ticket to the WSOPE European Championship, but how much they took home from the bounty was not disclosed by the casino.
