Casino Malta is the venue for the Battle of Malta series for the second time this year. In the spring edition, the €500,000 guarantee was converted into a prizepool worth €913,349, thanks to 1,814 entries. However, in the current autumn edition, the organisers have decided to push the bar higher and have set the guarantee up to €1,500,000.
The tournament had two buy-in levels. The first buy-in was €530+€70, where you received a stack of €40,000 and 40 minute levels for your entry. 15 percent of the players were allowed to advance and the chipleader received a bonus of €10,000 for advancing. The second buy-in level was €265+€35 and all of the above was halved - the starting stack, the length of the blinds, the chipleader bonus and the advancement percentages.
