One of Europe's most iconic mid-buy-in poker events, it began making history in 2012. Since then, the Battle of Malta series has passed several successful milestones: in 2014 it was named European Poker Event of the Year with a buy-in of up to €2,000, and in 2018 it offered players a €1,000,000 guarantee for the first time. The level kept moving higher and higher until 2019 saw the biggest BoM yet - 4,657 entries took care of the €2,258,645 prizepool then!

With poker experiencing a huge boom around the world lately, the organisers of Battle of Malta 2024 are not afraid of it either, and have prepared a packed tournament schedule for this year's edition, with a total festival guarantee of €2 million for the players! From October 29 to November 6, you can look forward to more than 30 poker tournaments, non-stop cash game action, and of course the Main Event, which will offer a €1,500,000 guarantee, at Casino Malta.

The unique structure of the ME offers players two options to qualify - either the Classic Flighters are ready, where a €600 buy-in will set you up with a stack of €40,000, with which you'll be tasked with fighting your way through 40-minute levels to be among the top 15%. However, there will also be half-price flights throughout each day where you'll be given a stack worth 20k for €300, and you'll have to qualify in the top 7.5% during the 20-minute levels.

From day two onwards, there will be cash prizes waiting for all qualifiers, and along with them a luxurious structure:

• Day 3 - 75 min
• Day 4/ Day 5 - 90 min
