Brandon Wilson wins one of the PGT Last Chance tournaments and becomes chipleader in another

Article cover

The PokerGO Tour (PGT) Las Chance is the last tournament series in which players can still earn points in the 2024 leaderboard, followed by a $1 million freeroll where the 40 players with the most points can get in. The entire series takes place at the PokerGO Studio at the ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

The series features 6 NLH tournaments with a buy-in of $10,100 and we've already recognized a trio of champions. The first one we introduced to you in our last article was Nick Schulman, so it's time to introduce you to the next pair.

Event number 2 brought in a record 119 entries, making it the biggest PGT tournament with a $10,100 buy-in. The prizepool was therefore worth $1,190,000 and the winner was looking at $297,500. That was eventually won by Shannon Shorr, who only needed two hands in heads-up play to win.

The third tournament brought the same 119 entries and the same $1,190,000 prizepool. The prize for the winner was also the same, and Brandon Wilson, who started with the second-smallest stack, was fighting for it at the final table. In the end, however, it was he who rejoiced in the $297,500 prize.
