All good things have to end one day, and so did the Prague EPT stop, which returned to the map of Europe after a long break. The event-packed poker holiday has pleased every pokrist, because of the range of buy-ins from 330€ to 50,000€, everyone has found their own. More than fifty events crowned new and old-new champions, including the resounding names of world poker.

The last two days enchanted every poker fan with their quality. Champions Hossein Ensan and Dimitar Danchev, who had long hoped to make history as third two-time champions. Unfortunately, neither of them made it to the official final table, WSOP European Champion Hossein Ensan finished in 14th place for 51,310€, Danchev was ordered out of 9th place for 76,650€.

The whole marathon ended with the final day on Wednesday, which welcomed the last six players at the table. It was led by Korean Gab Yong Kim with an 80bb stack, but since the game brought a 50bb deep game, everything was open at the moment. The more than 9-hour final really brought a good dose of great poker, which we also provided you with an exclusive Czech-Slovak live stream, which was commented by Roman Ferienčík and Vojta Ružička.

In it, you could gradually see the elimination of the Austrian player Armin Rezaei and the Italian Demetrio Caminita, after which the number of adepts to win the title was reduced to the last four. With the stacks settled, the last four had the ICM deal recalculated, which gave the players the following rewards:

  • Gab Yong Kim (South Korea) - €622,610*
  • Grzegorz Glowny (Poland) - €581,456
  • Andrea Cortellazzi (Italy) - €579,420*
  • Symeon Alexandridis (Greece) - €497,278*

Despite the deal, there was still an extra 110,796€ in the game along with the prestigious title, so the players still did not give anything for free and played their lifetime final table. After all, it has crowned its champion, who became the Polish player Grzegorz Glowny. He qualified for the main event from the 530€ online satellite, which he turned into a lifetime prize of 692,252€, making him the fifth Polish EPT champion. Well played!
