Chino Rheem wins his fifth PGT title along with a $295,000

The PokerGO Tour (PGT) PLO series continues at the PokerGO Studio at the ARIA Resort & Casino, and we're already five tournaments in. We've already informed you about the first winners and today we'll introduce you to the others.

 

The very day after Daniel Negreanu's great success, the final table of the tournament with serial number 4 was held, which had a buy-in of $10,100 and brought 118 entries with a prizepool of $1,180,000. Ben Tollerene was among the top six players to advance as chipleader. He eventually made it to the final heads-up where Chino Rheem sat opposite him.

Chino Rheem emerged as the champion, earning $295,000 and his fifth PGT title. With this win, his lifetime live tournament earnings surpassed the $16.1 million mark.

A wild ride

The fifth tournament of the series also had a buy-in of $10,100 and was a Progressive Bounty format. It brought 116 entries and a prizepool of $1,160,000. Surgeon Christopher Costa sat at the final table as a massive chipleader, holding more than 60 percent of all chips in play.

Costa battled his way through to the final heads-up where Alex Foxen sat opposite him. In heads-up play, Costa had 85 percent of all the chips and was able to take on Foxen. Christopher Costa won his first PGT title, adding $123,200 for first place and another $190,000 in bounty prizes.

Tonight we will know another winner

The tournament with serial number six also had a buy-in of $10,100 and this time brought 99 entries with a prizepool of $990,000. There is $252,450 waiting for the winner, and there are still six players left in contention for that prize. Leading them is Sean Rafael with a stack of 4,090,000. All players already have at least $49,500 in the bag.
