For the broad poker and non-poker community, Daniel Negreanu is the most famous ambassador, who has been representing the word poker for almost 3 decades. Despite countless successes and winnings of more than 51 million dollars, Daniel remains human, which he proved with a kind gesture.
He shared with his fans on Twitter the story that happened to him: "I was walking the dogs when suddenly a young man in a suit came up to me and said: I know it's bold, but in an hour my friends will come over and we're going to play ur last poker game before we all leave for college. Why don't you play with us?" He attached a poll behind the story asking what we would do in his place.
Among the 45,000 votes, more than 40,000 participants answered yes, and Daniel did not owe anything to his decent Canadian roots and chose to please a group of young people. With phone in hand and a handful of merch, he jumped into a 25¢-50¢ no-limit cash game, and the result is some nice videos and reactions.
Even though it was an ordinary living room game at the dining table, the hosts were not embarrassed and welcomed Daniel in shirts and suits. Daniel himself enjoyed the game very much, and even though he won the last hand of the evening, in the end he left all the money to the boys. His behavior did not go unnoticed and earned him a lot of positive responses on social media:
- Matt Berkey: "You are simply the best!"
- Ryan Riess: “Simply the G.O.A.T. poker ambassador!”
- Robbi Jade Lew: "Nothing but a smile when I see this!"
- Hayley Hochstetler: "Amazing, Daniel you are the perfect ambassador!"
What do you say about this whole situation? Would you expect Daniel to be talked into something like that?
