Such victory always opens doors for players to join various prestigious clubs and get lucrative collaborations. The case of Daniel Weinman is no exception as he signed a contract with Poker Royalty, a poker marketing agency, which was founded in 2003 and among other represents star poker players such as Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth or Antonio Esfandiari.

"We are thrilled to welcome Daniel Weinman to the Poker Royalty family,"  Poker Royalty founder and CEO Brian Balsbaugh said in the press release. "Daniel's exceptional skills, remarkable track record, and dedication will make him a tremendous ambassador for the game of poker." According to Daniel, the excitment is mutual: "Their unparalleled expertise and industry knowledge make them the ideal partner to help me navigate the ever-evolving landscape of professional poker," said the reigning world champion. Weinman is the latest Main Event champion to join the Poker Royalty roster, alongside Hellmuth, Scotty Nguyen and the late Doyle Brunson.

The interesting thing is that Daniel's title in the Main Event and the contract with Poker Royalty did not have to come at all, as he was so frustrated with 15 years without success in poker that he considered not even traveling to Vegas for the Main Event this summer. "I came very close to not even going back out for the Main Event. I went home halfway through the summer. I was burnt out and kind of took some urging on from friends and family to go out and play it even to begin with." It is safe to say now that he should be thankfull to the friends and family who pushed him to go.
