The first stop of this year's Polish Poker Cup has come to an end. The Winter Polish Poker Cup has met all of its champions and we can say that once again it went well. A great turnout of players, not only in the Main Event, brought a lot of excellent poker and outlasted guarantees.
On the last day of play, the Winter Polish Poker Cup had the task of finding the Main Event champion, who had a fabulous prize of €100,000 awaiting him. Out of a total of 5,300 entries, yesterday we had the last nine players who went head to head in front of our cameras. You can also watch footage of the final round on our website.
The final nine was led by Vitaliy Kryza from Ukraine with a stack of almost 60 million. However, he gradually lost it and had to settle for fifth place and a prize of €18,230.
The biggest wins were shared at the end of the tournament. The last three players agreed to deal chip stacks:
- Israel Rotem - €68,422
- Dolak David - €61,775
- Wicquart Nikolas - €50,563
- Playing down for €20,027
The final hand went the best for the Czech representative, who took €20,027 from the hand in addition to his €61,775 prize to become the Winter Polish Poker Cup Main Event champion. All in all, he took home €81,802 and a beautiful trophy for his €140 buy-in, for which we congratulate him.
