German Poker Days ME won by Sebastian Kilian, High Roller completed 4-way deal

Yesterday saw the final day of the German Poker Days Main Event, which was played in Mystery Bounty format and also featured a High Roller to close out the 4-way deal. The Main Event was dominated by Sebastian Kilian after the top three players had dealt.

The Rozvadov poker room broke records again. This time it took care of one in the Main Event of the German Poker Days Mystery Bounty edition, where the buy-in was €99+€25+€75 bounty and the guarantee was €300,000. The top three players here also had a ticket to the WSOPE Main Event worth €10,350 waiting for them.

With 3,498 entries, this edition became the biggest GPD ever held, and the prizepool shot up to €572,132. Of this amount, €42,800 was waiting for the winner. The tournament ended with a 3-way deal and a subsequent trophy shootout, after which Polish player Sebastian Kilian emerged as the winner. He defeated German player Patrick Meyer in the final heads-up to take home €29,550. Meyer took home €24,320 for second place. How much the players took home from the bounty prizes was not disclosed by the casino.

High Roller ended 4-way deal

The GPD High Roller was also played yesterday with a buy-in of €330 and a guarantee of €30,000, bringing the prizepool to €50,760 thanks to 180 entries. In the end, €12,183 was waiting for the winner, but the tournament ended in a 4-way deal. The winner was German player Thomas Kirchner who won €9,701, second place went to Andreas Karasz from Germany with €7,282, third place went to Mikji Jovanov from Macedonia (€6,622) and fourth place went to local player Jakub Schon who took home more than the third place player with €6,877.
