Deutsche Poker Tour Main Event ends 5-way deal, High Roller dominated by Czech player

The World Series of Poker Europe festival kicks off at the Rozvadov poker room on Wednesday, September 18, with a total of 15 bracelet tournaments and €15 million in guarantees.

Before that, however, the €150+€25 buy-in, €300,000 guarantee Deutsche Poker Tour was still taking place, with a €10,350 ticket to the WSOPE Main Event awaiting the top 4 players.

The Main Event brought only 1,561 entries and that was not enough to fill the guarantee. Cash prizes awaited 156 players and a €45,000 prize awaited the winner. Up to 5 German players and only one local player, Tomas Svoboda, fought for this amount at the final table. The tournament ended with a 5-way deal, after which Tomas Svoboda became the official winner. He took home €29,050 plus a WSOPE ME ticket.
