We all still have in our minds the situation when Nacho Barbero was caught in an online tournament with the GTO Wizard open program. Any form of RTA use during gameplay is banned on most online gaming sites. Nacho Barbero said at the time that he did not use RTAs in his game and was defended by the online gaming site itself. He was joined in his defence by Patrick Leonard, who reviewed all of Nacho's hands and compared them to GTO Wizard.

The whole issue surrounding Barbero took place during the Venom tournament at the American online poker room ACR. Well, this online poker room is once again in the spotlight of the poker world. Instagram user Eric James, nicknamed "nemoplayspoker", brought to light the Instagram story of professional player and ambassador Ebony Kenney from January 2024, when she boasted that she was playing a Venom tournament at the aforementioned poker room.
In her video, however, an open RTA solver was clearly visible during the game, and even Eric James noticed it. He immediately saved the video and forwarded it to the online gaming site ACR. In addition, he also alerted the player to the use of the illegal software, who immediately blocked it after being alerted. The gaming room itself never commented on the issue.
So yesterday, Eric decided to post the video and draw attention to the problem. Why he only posted the video now, after more than a year, is a mystery to us. Doug Polk, who has already made a joke about the whole thing, has also commented on the matter. He posted a screen covered in various solvers and helper software with the ironic caption, "I'm playing my first Venom today".
The comments have once again unleashed a wave of criticism on this game room, which has a history of scandals, such as the use of bots and the failure to pay influencers, and currently two of their ambassadors are in the spotlight for using RTAs during gameplay, while the use of such tools is forbidden in the game room's own rules.
