Mike Watson with third EPT title

The playoffs, or the third day of play, of the €10,300 EPT High Roller got underway with the last 28 players to emerge from the 431-player field. Some of the players who made it to the final day were Erik Seidel, who finished in 20th place, and Boris Angelov, who had to settle for 11th place.

The final table started with Enrico Camosci dominating the action, dispatching several of his opponents on the way to the final heads-up cash. Prior to heads-up play, the chip advantage was 4:1 on Camosci's side against Watson. The players agreed to an ICM deal and a play-off for the title and €20,000 to boot.

Although Mike Watson started the final table with the second smallest stack he eventually managed to turn the scales on his side. Although the biggest prize money went to Enrico Camosci, who managed to cash €734,100, heads-up play was dominated by Mike Watson, who won his third EPT title.
