EPT Barcelona: Seidel takes 6th place in the €25,000 NLH Final Table, Benitez Triumphs in €10,200 Mystery Bounty

Day 2 of €25,000 No-Limit Hold'em at the 2022 PokerStars and Barcelona Casino European Poker Tour started shortly after 12:30 p.m. local time and leading the nine remaining players was America's Erik Seidel with a stack of 522,000. Alongside the nine time WSOP bracelet winner and Poker Hall of Famer joined the final table Malaysian high-stakes veteran Paul Phua (438,000), Canadian Timothy Adams (178,000) and Spain's Adrian Mateos (144,000), who earlier this year took down the EPT Monte Carlo €100,000 Super High Roller for €1,385,430.

 

From the above mentioned players, the first one who had to leave the final table was Adrian Mateos, who lost to Paul Phua´s As Ad with his Ks Kc and took 8th place from this event. Timothy Adams was elimated in the 7th place and is taking home €63,030. Despite the fact the Erik Seidel was the chipleader before this final table, he was the one who finished in the 6th along with €81,030. The next eliminated player is brazilian Pedro Garagnani who will cash €102,040 for his 5th place. The remaining players are Ramiro Pedrone who is also the current chipleader, Artur Martirosian, Paul Phua and Francisco Benitez.

 

Uruguay's Francisco Benitez has started the2022 PokerStars and Barcelona Casino European Poker Tour Barcelona off with a bang by taking down €10,200 Mystery Bounty for €114,080. Benitez defeated Ukraine's Igor Yaroshevskyy after a brief heads-up battle that left the runner-up taking home €73,610.
