EPT Cyprus: 53 players heading into day four of the Main Event

All the eyes of the poker world are directed to the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel & Spa, where the premiere stop of EPT Cyprus is taking place, and especially the Main Event of the entire event.

The Main Event brought 1,320 entries and thus the prizepool worth $6,402,000 is divided, of which the winner will take home up to $1,042,000. Yesterday, 155 players made it to Day 3, but at the end of the day there were only 53 of them.

Who didn't make it to Day 4?

Among those eliminated are, for example, Parker Talbot ($14,150), Juan Pardo ($12,300), Kayhan Mokri ($12,300), Steve O'Dwyer ($12,300), Joao Vieira ($10,700), Simon Wiciak ($9,275) or Lucien Cohen ($9,275).

The chip leader at the start of Day 4 will be French player Nathan Tetart with a stack of 3,465,000, followed by Jose Gonzalez Sanchez with a stack of 2,665,000. From the well-known names of the poker world, Carl Shaw (895,000), Dario Sammartino (855,000), Fabrice Bigot (630,000) and Milos Skrbic (175,000) are still in the game. All players already have at least $18,700 in their pockets.
