€5,300 EPT Main Event

After four days of play, only 16 players remain in the game from the original 1,458 entries. They still have a tough battle ahead of them for the title, for which they can win €1,146,500.

Thanks to the livestream on our website, you were able to see how the original 53 players made up the semi-final line-up during yesterday's day of play. This will be dictated by Paul Runcan from Romania, who is the only one to have surpassed the five million chip mark during today's Day 5. Day 3 chipleader Anton Bergstrom is also still in contention and is currently in third place.

Today, the semi-final sixteen will meet in a battle for the final seats, where some really great money will be on the line. At the moment they are all assured of €47,250, which perhaps no one will want to settle for. The tournament will continue with level 26, of which 47 more minutes must be played. The blinds are thus 25,000/50,000/50,000.
