Grand Casino Liechtenstein has opened its doors to WPT Prime Liechtenstein and kicked off a spectacular festival. The Main Event of the entire festival will have a guarantee of CHF 1,000,000, but there are still a few smaller tournaments to come.

Today we take a look at the WPT Prime Opener, which finished yesterday, with a buy-in of CHF 300 and a guarantee of CHF 30,000. It brought 179 entries and a prizepool worth CHF 48,330, of which CHF 11,250 awaited the winner.

Yesterday was the final day where the top 7 players made it through. The chipleader here was Austrian player Happynico with a stack of up to 1,081,000. The last three players made a deal, after which Happynico was the winner. He took home the trophy and a prize of CHF 10,105.

Deepstack kicked off

The WPT Prime Deepstack kicked off yesterday with Flight 1A, with a buy-in of CHF 200 and a guarantee of CHF 100,000. The first flight attracted 171 entries and we met the 21 advancers. The tournament continues today with Flight 1B and we have a total of three flights from which players advance straight to the final table.
