Article cover

A special Triton Cash Game Invitational is underway at the Maestral Resort & Casino - Budva, Montenegro, featuring names like Paul Phua, Rob Yong, Elton Tsang, Patrik Antonius, Tony G and the legendary Phil Ivey.

Today we'll be talking about Antanas Guoga, or Tony G if you prefer. He lost a considerable amount of money during yesterday's fourth day of the live stream.

The first charge

With blinds of $1,000/$2,000/$5,000, the minimum player bet was $500,000. This amount was also paid by the aforementioned Tony G, who immediately went all in. In one of the hands, he found A-K under his hand and Elton Tsang joined in with Q-10. After the board was dealt, Tsang announced all in, which Tony gladly called. Unfortunately, he lost everything in this hand.

Second charge

Tony G bought in for another $500,000 and continued to play. After an hour of play, he was up to $1,000,000, but then started losing chips again. Once again we saw a duel between Tony and Elton Tsang, with Tony finding K-K and Elton finding A-A. After the flop landed, Tony decided to go all in, which Tsang very quickly called.

The players agreed to play the board for the most time, and nothing could save Tony after he folded. The nearly 1.5 million pot moved to Tsang and Tony G exited the hand.

Third Hub

Later, Tony came back and cashed for another $500,000. From that point on, he was much better at the game, but still ended the day with a total loss of $1,350,000. Elton Tsang, on the other hand, made a total of $1,241,000.
