Final Marathon
Day 2 was also the final day and the game lasted 16 hours. Names like Tom-Aksel Bedell and 2019 WSOP Main Event champion Hossein Ensan were also at the final table here.
Tom-Aksel Bedell finished in seventh place with a prize of €35,510, while Hossein Ensan worked his way up from the shortstack to the chipleader position. After eliminating the player in fourth place, the final three players negotiated a deal in which Ensan and Leonid Yanovski secured €146,000 and shortstack Youness Barakat secured €142,940.
After the deal, it was already 5:00am, but there was still the trophy to play for and an extra €15,000 for the winner. Hossein Ensan and Youness Barakat sat down in the final heads-up, with nearly even chip counts. Play was completed at 7:00am, with Youness Barakat emerging as the winner.
