There's a lot going on at the WSOP every day, and we hope you'll forgive us if we focus exclusively on one tournament today. That will be tournament number 16, which was the WSOP $25k High Roller (8-Handed). The counter of entries here reached the number 301 and thus the prizepool worth $7,073,500 was distributed. This amount was shared by 46 players, while the min cash was $40,000 and up to $1,698,215 was waiting for the winner.

The best 13 players fought for the highest sums during the night in the finals. The leader was the Czech player Roman Hrabec with a stack of 6,050,000. In the final, everyone had at least $79,335 in their pockets.

However, famous names of the poker scene stood in the way of the new Czech bracelet, such as Isaac Haxton, Darren Elias, Brian Rast, Joao Vieira and Kristen Foxen. It was the Czech player who took care of Kristen Foxen's elimination in an unpleasant hand, and sent her to the cash register for a reward of $79,335 for 12th place.

However, Roman Hrabec started to lose his chips after this hand and Isaac Haxton took the chip leader position. Both reached the final table, where it looked like this:

The first to be eliminated from the final table was Michael Jozoff, who won $121,275 for 9th place. He was followed by Joao Vieira, who took home $155,037. Seventh place was taken by Brian Rast, who collected $202,532 at the cash register, and Frank Funaro went to the cash register shortly after him, and collected $270,238 there.

A few minutes after that, the Czech player Roman Hrabec, who started the final day as the chip leader, had to leave the table. In the end, however, he had to settle for a reward of $368,134 for fifth place. Roman hacked Darren Elias's K-K with his A-J.

Darren Elias took third place, increasing his bankroll by $725,790. In the end, Isaac Haxton (25.7M) and Ryan O'Donnell (19.5M) reached the final heads-up. Haxton thus had the opportunity to finally win his first gold bracelet.

And he used this opportunity! Isaac Haxton defeated Ryan O'Donnell in the final heads-up and won his first WSOP gold bracelet after many years of waiting. In addition to this, he also received a reward of $1,698,215, making his lifetime live winnings already over $37.5 million. Ryan O'Donnell took home his lifetime prize of $1,049,577 for second place. Congratulations!
