Article cover

Each year, the PokerGO Tour (PGT) brings us a variety of tournaments in which players accumulate points towards the year-end point standings. The most recent opportunity to earn points was during the recently concluded PGT Last Chance, which was followed by the $1,000,000 PGT Championship freeroll.

The 40 players with the most points were able to advance to this freeroll, and were joined by 10 more players who won the Dream Seat. The winner of the leaderboard with the most points became the 2024 PGT Player of the Year, and that was Jeremy Ausmus, who racked up 2,966 points throughout the year. He earned $5,991,016 in PGT tournaments, winning one tournament and taking home money from 26 tournaments. Jeremy took home the golden plate as a reward for winning the 2024 PGT Player of the Year title, and he also earned the biggest stack in the million-dollar freeroll.

In second place behind Ausmus was Daniel Negreanu, who earned 2,054 points. He achieved these thanks to three PGT tournament wins, 21 cashes and earned a total of $2,399,106. Third place went to Seth Davies, who earned 1,855 points. Seth won 3 tournaments, made 9 cashouts and earned $5,794,660.
