Joey Weissman in third PokerGO Cup heads-up, Sergio Aido wins third PGT title

Today, we're going to write  about another pair of PokerGO Cup champions that is taking place at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas. Tournament number 4 brought a $10,100 buy-in, 98 entries and a prizepool of $980,000, with $254,800 awaiting the winner.

Joey Weissman, who played heads-up in the first tournament, then won the second tournament and not only made the final table in tournament number 4, but made it all the way back to heads-up where Eric Blair sat against him. However, Eric was out of reach for Joey and had to settle for second place once again. Eric Blair took home his first PGT trophy and the full amount for the winner.

Event #5 was the last $10,100 buy-in tournament and has now brought in 100 entries, making the prizepool $1,000,000. Of that amount, $255,000 awaited the winner.

Names such as Brandon Wilson, Nick Schulman, Shannon Shorr, Sergio Aido and the winner of the first tournament, Michael Moncek, made their way to the 6 seat final table. Moncek started as the chipleader, which gave him the opportunity to play his third heads-up, but he ended up finishing in third place.

Sergio Aido and Shannon Shorr went into the final heads-up, with Aido at a 3-1 disadvantage. However, even that didn't stop him on his way to the title, and Sergio Aido was eventually crowned champion, claiming his third career PGT title.
