Joey had a beautiful journey during this series as he was the runner-up in Event 1 and Event 4, and the champion in Event 2. In the last tournament, he had a chance to take home his second trophy and become the overall series champion. Joey was finally able to make it to the final heads-up, which was his fourth during the series. Here, he and his opponent Justin Zaki negotiated a reduction in the first place prize and it was Justin Zaki who was the winner, taking home the trophy and $417,000 in prize money.

Joey Weissman secured the PokerGO Cup Overall Winner trophy for his first place finish, plus a $25,000 PGT Passport. He joins star poker players like Jonathan Little (2024), Cary Katz (2023), Jeremy Ausmus (2022) and Daniel Negreanu (2021). His lifetime live tournament winnings have already exceeded $8.5 million, winning four career PGT titles along with 19 final tables and 29 ITM placements.
Joe also managed to dethrone Kristen Foxen, who until last night sat at the top of the PGT Player of the Year leaderboard with 857 points. However, Joey Weissman overtook Kristen thanks to his participation in the fourth heads-up, and is currently at the top of the leaderboard with 907 points.
