Yesterday, the Eureka Festival had the final day of the Eureka Cup with a €300,000 guarantee and a buy-in of €330. This tournament brought 942 entries and €52,600 awaited the winner.
The top 16 players advanced to the final day and all of them already had at least €2,295 in their pockets. "Karlovarský Král", who had won one of the Eureka side events just a few days earlier, was the chipleader going into the final round and took home the trophy.
Home dominance at the final table
Right behind him with the second biggest stack was his compatriot Lukas Klima. Both local players also made it to the final table.
Roman "The King of Karlovy Vary" Mikus headed straight to the final heads-up where he gave his opponent no chance of success and took home his second trophy from the current edition of Eureka, plus the full €52,600 winner's prize.
