Canadian poker pro, streamer and TV show contestant Kevin Martin has come up with a new challenge for the end of 2024. Every day he'll be live dealing cards until he's dealt a Royal Flush! The probability of you being able to stack this hand is 1 in 649,739, which means that this challenge could be a very long one.
The way the whole challenge was done was simple - on the first day Kevin dealt one hand, on the second day two hands, on the third day three hands, and so on. To make the whole challenge even better, Kevin added one dollar to the pot each day for every thousand followers on YouTube. He started the challenge with 117,000 followers and currently has 124,000, so each day the pot has gradually grown by $117 to $124.
He did it in less than 100 days
Currently, Kevin boasted on social media about the successful completion of the challenge. The challenge took him exactly 99 days, during which he dealt 4,908 hands. During this time, he made a pot of $11,959, and he will be giving this amount away to his subscribers. Kevin selects 20 of his subscribers and they play poker for that amount.
Kevin Martin is known for his challenges, and after this one, it is so likely that he will surprise us with another new challenge soon.
