King's Million PLO ends with three-player deal, German player Maggu the winner

Article cover

The new King's Million PLO Edition series with a €1,000,000 guarantee and a buy-in of €1,100 has been running in the Rozvadov poker room over the past few days. There were no WSOPE tickets waiting for players in this tournament.

The tournament only brought in 775 entries and so the guarantee was not collected. The casino had to add a considerable amount of money from its own pocket to the guarantee. The winner was looking at €160,000.

24 players played for this prize on the final day and their chipleader was Danish player Thomas Lyngvang Pedersen. In second place was the German player Memik Sezer. Memik finished just shy of the final table in 10th place with a prize of €10,700.

The chipleader at the final table was the German player Maggu, followed by the home player Lukáš Záškodný. The original chipleader Pedersen started here as the shortstack.

Czech player Lukáš Záškodný eventually busted out in fourth place, for which he took home a €54,000 prize. After his elimination, the last three players agreed to a deal, after which we saw only one more hand. In it, we saw a 3-way all-in, after which the German player Maggu emerged as the winner. He took home €150,625 after the deal.
