Alex Foxen took care of business a few days ago by winning one of the WSOP Online tournaments that are only open to US players. Alex added his second bracelet to his collection, which he won in Event #17, but now his fame has been eclipsed by his wife.
Everyone is already talking about the success of Kristen Foxen, who added her fifth WSOP bracelet to her collection. She won the first two live in 2013 and 2016, and has three more from the online edition. She won her fourth bracelet last year.
Her most recent bracelet, her fifth, was won in online tournament number 19, which was the $1,000 buy-in NLH 6-Max. The tournament brought in 311 entries and Kristen herself bought in 3 times. The prizepool came in at $290,785 and a $56,703 payday awaited the winner. Kristen Foxen won that prize, along with a valuable gold bracelet for herself, making her the only woman ever to win five WSOP bracelets. Kristen now has more than $9 million in winnings, making her the second highest-earning female poker player in history, just behind Vanessa Selbst, who has nearly $11 million in winnings.
