The PokerGO Tour (PGT) continues to bring us more and more series, and after the PGT PLO Series which ended just a few days ago, we now have the U.S. Poker Open. This one takes place at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas from April 8 to April 17 and will feature 8 NLH tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $5,100 to $25,200.

Kristen Foxen dominated the first tournament

The very first tournament had a buy-in of $5,100 and produced 129 entries, bringing the prizepool to $645,000. Of that amount, $158,025 awaited the winner.

Seven players advanced to the final table, led by Francis Anderson. However, there were also names like Justin Saliba, David Peters and Kristen Foxen. Kristen fell to shortstack in three-player play, but even that didn't stop her from later becoming the winner. In the final heads-up match, she beat American Ping Liu, giving Kristen her third PGT title of the year.
