On the night of January 13-14, drama unfolded at the residence of the former owner of the Kings Resort Rozvadov, Leon Tsoukernik. He was allegedly administered the drug Propofol, which can only be administered by an anaesthesiologist, by an unprofessional intravenous injection. It is a short-acting hypnotic that is commonly used in hospital as a fast-onset general anaesthetic. After its application, the patient is asleep within 30 seconds and therefore it is also used for insomnia problems.
Leon fell into a coma after it and had to be airlifted to the hospital. The doctors' outlook was not positive at all and they feared the worst. Consequently, after 40 hours in a coma, the doctors were supposed to try and revive Leon, which they did. However, his condition getting better was still not certain.
But now everything has changed
The latest information about his health is more than favorable. Leon's health is improving faster than expected and he has already managed to give a short Facetime interview to the Czech website Forbes.cz, where he said: 'I'm absolutely fine, I feel fantastic. I'm feeling fantastic, I'm feeling fine, I'm feeling fine."
As we further learned, Leon also overcame bilateral pneumonia while still in a coma. "My undying gratitude goes to Kari - Clinic of Anaesthesiology, Resuscitation and Intensive Care Medicine. The quality I have not seen anywhere in the world. These wonderful people gave me a second life. Headed by Professor Benes. At the same time, I am grateful from the bottom of my heart to my wife Sandra, who spent days and nights at my bedside. I believe that played a role," Tsoukernik adds at the end of the interview.
