The WSOP Circuit Events edition offers players 12 gold rings and a total guarantee of €3,000,000. Yesterday, all eyes were on the €250 buy-in, €500,000 guarantee Mini Main Event, where the top 5 players also had a ticket to the WSOPE Main Event worth €10,350 awaiting them.
This tournament eventually brought in 3,194 entries, making the prizepool worth €670,740. Of this amount, €102,200 was waiting for the winner, and 32 players made it through to the final table. They were led by home player Patrik Jaros, and the German player "Kawasaki" started with the second largest stack.
Both players also made their way to the final table, but Patrik Jaros already had the smallest stack. It was he who had to say goodbye to the tournament in 9th place, for which he took home €6,694. He was eliminated by Slovak player Lukáš "lakyluk17" Pažma, who moments later sent home a German player nicknamed "Kawasaki".
Lukáš gradually increased his stack and after eliminating Czech player Simon Fiala in third place, he also made it to the final heads-up where Swiss player "King of Kings" sat against him.
Lukas started heads-up play with a stack of 65,700,000 (26bb) and the Swiss player with a stack of 92,600,000, which was 37 blinds. Although the Slovak player started at a disadvantage, he managed to take his opponent down after almost an hour of heads-up play. The Slovakian player, Lukáš Pažma, thus became the WSOPC Mini Main Event champion, for which he added a WSOPC ring to his WSOP gold bracelet. In addition, he also earned €102,200 to his account. His Swiss opponent took home €59,300 for his second place finish.
