The Swiss Poker Open Limited Edition brought the €600,000 Main Event to the Rozvadov poker room with a buy-in of €660. The top seven players also received a €10,350 ticket to the WSOPE 2024 Main Event.
The final 722 participants were not enough to fulfill the guarantee, so the casino had to fulfill the guarantee from its own resources. Only 12 percent of players qualified for Day 2 and all received €1,000. 16 players reached the final day with at least €4,275 in their pockets and a total of €101,000 waiting for the winner.
"Mephisto" finally busted out when he flopped top pair with A-Kicker, prompting him to 3-bet and his opponent to 4-bet all-in. Unfortunately for him, his opponent Marius Gicovanu flopped a straight, whereupon Mephisto was eliminated in fourth place and, in addition to his €32,000 prize money, punched his ticket to the WSOPE European Championship.
