Martin Kabrhel High Roller champion, wins his third WSOPE bracelet

The King's Resort in Rozvadov recognized the owner of the bracelet from WSOPE Event #12. The tournament, with the biggest buy-in of €50,000, had its final day yesterday, with the final jump to Level 14. We had the chance to see three big names from the Czech Republic, namely Leon Tsoukernik, Martin Kabrhel and Roman Hrabec, looking to fight for the proverbial bracelet.

The High Roller saw a total of 30 entries which meant a prizepool of €1,395,000 to be shared by 5 players. Martin Kabrhel was the only Czech to make it to the final table and he gradually gained momentum and increased his stack.

In the end, it was the Czech who gave his opponents no chance and defeated Sirzat Hissou from Germany in the final heads-up. For the victory, Martin Kabrhel, the top player on the Czech all-time money list, took home his third WSOP bracelet and a cash prize of €529,000.

WSOPE Main Event kicked off on Day 1A

Friday also saw the start of the Main Event at King's, which guarantees €5 million at a €10,350 buy-in. The tournament, in which the champion will be crowned on October 9, got off to a spectacular start. In fact, Day 1A has been entered by approximately 400 qualifiers who have won tickets during the year just during the distribution tournaments.

In the end, players managed to buy-in 507 times, thus surpassing the guarantee on the very first day of play. A number of our players are also among the advancers, with the third largest stack being held by Czech player Patrik Jaroš. 

Today, Day 1B of the Main Event is scheduled from 12:00, where we will get to know the other advancers. Seven 90-minute levels will be played during the opening flights, and it will also be possible to jump into the tournament on Day 2, as registration is open for 12 levels.
