The 37th edition of the Banco Casino Masters saw a great turnout of players last night. All told, the Main Event of this year's Masters produced 1,432 entries, meaning that the quarter-million dollar guarantee is still holding up. There are 145 players in Day 2, which will be filled by the last stragglers later today.
Today's hyperturbo flighter, which starts at 10:00am and for which registration will be open until 12:40pm, will decide by how much, if at all, the guarantee can be surpassed. This really is the last chance to fight for great prizes and the title of the 37th Banco Casino Masters Champion.
Although Friday night brought an excellent turnout of players, Saturday still outdid the numbers. The strongest day of play lived up to expectations, with 72 players making it to Day 2 thanks to a total of 707 entries.
The Flight, which started at noon, saw 327 entries, resulting in 33 advancing spots. The later Flight 1H brought 267 entries, which meant 27 players advanced, including current chipleader Andrzej Kotowicz from Poland with a stack of 1,228,000 chips.
In the evening turbo, 113 more entries were collected, making eleven players complete the second day's line-up.

The main event continues today with the aforementioned last Hyperturbo Flight, which starts at 10:00, and for which registration is open until 12:40. All qualifiers will battle it out to make it to the final 16 at 16:00 today. The final itself will be in front of our cameras and you shouldn't miss it.
