Another edition of the Banco Casino Masters is coming to a close. The search for the 38th champion is in its final stages, with the last 16 players facing off for the title and the €36,370 prize that comes with it. During the opening days of play, players managed to record 1,388 entries which were not enough to beat the €250,000 guarantee, leaving 139 entrants to face off on Day 2. Their goal was to make it into the top 16 and fight for the title in today's final table, which we will bring you a Livestream of at 19:30.
Sunday was the second day of play at the legendary Masters, with 139 players taking part. Each player was assured of €370, but no one settled for that. As time went on, the field was whittled down to the last 16 players who will meet in the final today. The finalists will be led as chipleader by Alessio Liscia of Italy, who bagged up 6,905,000 chips.
