MASTERS: Banco Casino Masters Title 37. goes to Croatia

The next edition of the Banco Casino Masters already knows its champion. The tournament managed to produce 1,590 entries, and the last 16 players were seated at the tables during yesterday's day. Those players battled it out for the title in front of our cameras. If you missed it yesterday, you can check out the footage below.

Last night's challenge was to find out the 37th champion of the legendary Masters poker series, which was contested by the last 16 players. All the title aspirants had their eyes set not only on the title, but also on the €40,520 prize.

After a few hours of play, the final table was formed, with Andrei Chiriliuc from Moldova dominating the action. He managed to collect an excellent 15 million chips and thus had a great prospect of the title.

The action at the final table continued unabated as Mladen Stojanovic of Croatia improved his position and it was Chiriliuc who began to lose a little ground. In the last three, the players agreed to deal and finish for €8,400, with the Croatian representative assured of the biggest payday.
