It was 2019, and word leaked out that player Mike Postle had been scandalously accused of cheating on a streaming cash-game. His case, which incidentally was also dealt with in court, attracted the attention of the poker world. Judge William B. Shubb refused to open the trial on all counts at the time, but that wasn't enough to prove his innocence to the poker community.
There was no tangible evidence against Postle, nor was the complicity of production head Justin Kuraitis, who was the number one suspect, proven. However, circumstantial evidence and retrospective analysis by several professionals clearly indicate that Postle had information about his opponents' hands in some hands in this stream. You can see this for yourself, for example, by watching the video below.
So, after many attacks on his person, Postle went silent for a long time and disappeared from all streams, casinos and live games. After a few years, he reappeared at a tournament at the Beau Rivage Casino, where he went by his first and middle name (Michael Lawrence) and played with his face completely covered the whole time. However, people did notice, and once again it left a negative response from many quarters
Recently, however, Postle appeared on the X Spaces conversation platform after years of silence, where he publicly denied any accusations. The two-hour long essentially monologue was criticized by the general audience, however, because Postle did not face any offensive questions regarding specific situations where it was more than obvious that cheating had occurred. Simply, the other participants were muted and thus only Postle himself was allowed to speak. Veronica herself appealed to this outcome. She left a post on Platform X where she expressed her dissatisfaction with the impossibility of leaving comments or questions from the audience.
Obviously the guy won't go on any platform where people are allowed to ask him real questions.

In the end, however, Postle said he would love to have a face-to-face with one of his biggest critics, commentator and poker regular Veronica Brill. "I would love to have a fair and easy conversation with Veronica on her and Nick's show without any editing,"Postle expressed during his appearance on X Spaces, footage of which can be viewed here:
The question remains, however, whether Postle will commit to a "face to face" dialogue with Veronica, where of course he will face much tougher questions about the case itself. We will, of course, keep an eye on the situation and will keep you updated with the latest news.
