The Czech Poker Tour has stopped in various places over the years and now it's headed straight to the Hilton, more specifically to the Kings Prague Casino, where it has brought a two-day Main Event with a €40,000 guarantee and a buy-in of €180+€20.
The entry count stopped here at 206 and so the guarantee could not be met. 23 players were able to enter the ITM with a mincash of €441 and €8,833 awaiting the winner.
This time we also saw the final day
Usually the CTP was a one day event, now it has become a two day tournament with a separate final day. 44 players entered. The chipleader was Ngoc Chinh Nguyen from Vietnam with a stack of 804,000, followed by local players Jakub Závěrka and Milan Šimáně.
As many as 7 local players made it to the 8-seater final table where Jakub Závěrka was the massive chipleader with a stack of up to 2,735,000. The second largest stack was Jan Merta who had 1,710,000.
In the final heads-up, Milan Simane (73BB) and Jakub Závěrka (56BB) faced each other. The players agreed to a deal of €7,000 each and finished for the trophy and an extra €818 for the winner. The winner was Milan Šimáně, who took home the trophy and €7,818. Congratulations!
