Nosebleeds High Stakes action returns on WPT Global!

Article cover

The days of Rail Heaven have returned to WPT Global in recent weeks as online poker nosebleeds have been in full swing. The battles have often taken place at the $200/$400 and $100/$200 No-Limit Hold’em tables, with one player winning $666,000 in one heads-up session, a $3 million downswing for another, and several huge pots.

The player “nicetrybuddy” certainly appreciated the effort from one opponent, as they scooped $666k in a heads-up battle which lasted 319 hands at the $200/$400 table. As the effective stacks grew, so did the pot sizes, as one exceeded $220k at the same stakes while over 50 WPT Global players spectated the battle.

One player fired the high-stakes games for three days straight, finding no luck in the online game and losing over $3 million.
While other sites struggle to get over $5/$10 running or make their higher-stakes games invite-only, WPT Global are keeping the online poker dream alive and reviving the nosebleed games that fans used to watch WPT ambassador Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan and Patrik Antonius battle at for hours on end.
