The Triton Series is currently taking place in the luxurious Monte Carlo, where many top players from around the world have found their way to. The first events have already seen their champions, with Jonathan Jaffe claiming the title first and Dan Smith the day before yesterday. Last night continued with the $25,000 Turbo event, which saw the third champion in a row.
$25k Turbo
Friday's action, in addition to the $125k Main Event, also focused on the $25k Turbo, in which players also made 57 entries with the help of a few re-entries. That's exactly the same number as there were during the first $50k Turbo Bounty event. This brought the total prize pool to $1,425,000, which was split between the final table players.
The bubble burst after the elimination of Alex Kulev, whose A K was not enough for Fedor Holz's A T . After this bad beat, the final table was formed, which included the aforementioned Fedor Holtz. The latter made his second consecutive appearance at the final table, earning $694,000 for seventh place in the $200k Invitational event.
