Yes, as we already wrote, the unique PSPC event is also part of the PCA and will take place during the second week so, this time the Main Event had to be content "only" with the role of a front-runner. But despite that it happened to be a record-breaking event. The two opening days, together with late registration produced a total of 889 entries, surpassing the record from 2019 (865 entries) and setting the value of the prize pool at $8,623,300.

The demanding 6-day event gradually narrowed the field of players, from which the last 6 adepts returned to the Sunday final to win the title. They were led at the beginning of the day by the Portuguese representative Pedro Neves, who turned this advantage into the final heads-up deal. In it, he and his compatriot Michel Dattani shared 7-figure sums, but it was Dattani who managed the final playoff for the title. In total, as the winner, he took home $1,316,963 and a valuable title to go with it.

Even outside of the Main Event, there was something to see, as the best players in the world proved to us in the very first event. They competed in the 100,000 Super High Roller event, which produced a total of 49 entries. At the end, three millionaires emerged from it, Adrian Mateos, Seth Davies and Isaac Haxton agreed on an ICM deal, which gave them almost identical rewards. A lightning finish just for the trophy and the title ended up in the hands of Isaac Haxton.

Justin Bonomo added another entry to his rich resume on Saturday, as he shined in the $25k High Roller event. It was also ended the 3-way deal, but it is the world number one on the all-time money list who is going home with the trophy. The $574,529 prize brought Bonomo's lifetime winnings to $59.5 million, extending his lead over runner-up Kenney to $2.3 million.

Now we can fully focus on the most exciting tournament of the whole event, the spectacular PS Players Championship. It made history four years ago as the largest $25k buy-in tournament in history, when a field made up of both amateurs and professionals produced more than a thousand entries. But everything indicates that the second edition will surpass its premiere and set records even higher - what do you think, will it succeed?
