The German Poker Days series made another stop at the Rozvadov poker room, once again offering a €300,000 guarantee with a buy-in of €174+€25. A ticket to the WSOPE Main Event worth €10,350 was also waiting for four players.
The GPD Main Event brought 1,602 entries, which was not enough to fill the guarantee. Players advanced straight from the flights to the final table, where only 10 percent of the entries could make it each time.
German player Christian Jetz sat at the final table as chipleader with a stack of 13,525,000. A prize of €43,500 awaited the winner. However, in the end, none of the players took home the prize.
With the last five players in the hand, we saw a deal after which the winner was still to be decided. Christian Jetz ended up in third place with a prize of €20,057. The winner was Petr Satek, who took home €23,213. In the final heads-up, he defeated player Oliver Kubalek, who took home €28,292. All three also won a ticket to the WSOPE European Championship.
