Phil Galfond is a name that certainly does not need to be introduced to the poker world. Owner of three WSOP bracelets and the owner of real money poker site Run It Once Poker and poker training site Run It Once Training where he also is a coach has a reputation of conflict-avoidant person which makes his statement even more powerfull. Phil wrote a lenghty blog post about Polk's bullying.
If you're in the poker world, you won't have been able to miss the discussion about @DougPolkVids, @Charlie_Carrel, @berkey11, @RealKidPoker & others.

It's unlike anything I've seen.
You may know I don't often engage in controversy. I don't like to fight. I like to "be nice" ⬇️
We make a short summary of the post but is worth reading in its entirety as the Galfond's article is persuasive and balanced. Galfond highlighted all the recent stories surrounding Polk and added his own opinion to them. He supported people like Carrel, Berkey, and Justin Bonomo for speaking out about Polk's character when he wouldn't. "He is driven, for some unknown and likely complex reason, to hurt people emotionally." Suggested Galfond that Polk has always had this cruel character, even before he was well-known in poker.
The public response to Galfond's blog has been mostly positive and the question at hand is how will Doug Polk respond to it. He is undeniably a good poker player and a coach, but we hear a too many stories about his bullying. We were waiting if and how Doug will respond to Phil. He posted this video in response. What are your thoughts on all of this? Let us know in the comments.
