The WSOP Circuit Events series is currently underway in Estonia, specifically at the Olympic Park Casino Tallinn, where 12 gold rings will be awarded, and a German player has already taken home one of them.
Event number 3 was a three-day €555 NLH tournament with 617 entries and a prize pool of €296,160. The €55,210 prize awaited the winner here, which the top 9 players battled it out for on the third and final day.
The chipleader here was German player Phil Gross, who had his first live tournament success on the Hendon Mob just last year. His first ITM placement was in Estonia, where he finished second in the Kings of Tallinn in July and took home €72,700.
So he has now added just his third ITM to his list, and this time it was a straight WSOPC tournament win. He took home €55,210, his first ring, and with it a seat into next year's million-dollar WSOP Tournament of Champions freeroll, where he also has a chance to win a bracelet.
